What is your why?

My why is all about seeing the people around me grow and be the best possible version of themselves!

How does your role help Swan achieve its mission?

My role as a partner gives me the opportunity to empower and lead people in all areas of their lives.

What level of expert are you?

My 27 years in the business I have been fortunate enough to experience every aspect of the industry, which has given me the ability to make decisions based on those experiences.

What are you passionate about outside of the office?

All my passion comes from the love of God and family!

Tommy Jones

Tommy has over 20 years of service and experience in the 3PL industry. He understands what customers want/need and demand and knows how to deliver. He and everyone in the organization have earned the Trust of many Fortune 500 companies and niche players throughout North America. Tommy is an outside-the-box thinker who puts a heavy premium on Customer Service. He's always held positions where serving the customer was a top priority to ensure company and personal success. With this industry knowledge and background, Tommy is a proven leader you can trust

Swan believes in an entrepreneurial mindset and empowering employees to make decisions that positively impact the company, the customer, and their futures. We take employees and employment seriously and do everything possible to provide the best tools, environment, and support to ensure everyone's success. Our focus at Swan is to review customer-specific shipping needs - recommend beneficial solutions that increase shipping efficiencies for the customer. It has to be a win, win for everyone!

Swan Transportation is a third-party logistics company specializing in multiple modes of transportation and Specialized solutions. The company has been operating for 20+ years.

My passions outside the office?

Growing my relationship with GOD, my family, and being the best Dad I can be. I enjoy sports, training, traveling, reading, and motorcycle riding.

Tim McNulty

What is your why?

My everyday goal is to help our folks achieve their true potential so that they may be fulfilled. In doing so, I am also fulfilled! They are my purpose. It’s my mission to make sure that they have the tools and the capital and the power to achieve their goals. How does your role help Swan achieve its mission? I help bridge the Swan that we were in the past with the Swan that we are destined to be in the future… where we will inevitably achieve our full potential.

What level of expert are you?

I’ve been around a while, but it never gets old. In fact, working alongside everyone across the Swan Family is an absolute blast, and it keeps me young at heart. I love what I do, because I love who I get to do it with.

What are you passionate about outside of the office?

Julie and I are raising two boys Gavin and Graham, AKA the 2G’s. There is no greater passion to pursue than them… but from time to time I like to restore old motorbikes, pick guitars, and travel the world looking for the next great links course to be humbled by.

Becky Micheaux

What is your why?

do “Kingdom work”…..be a “light”…affect people in a positive way.

How does your role help Swan achieve its mission?

I develop and invest in people. I mentor and try to positively influence the team through conversation, understanding, compassion, and genuine care. I help people learn how to function well, as a team, in a
diverse group and challenging environment.

What level of expert are you?

I am the leader of Swan LTD, 12 years with Swan. I have 9 in my immediate team but the whole scope I work with and invest in is over 40 people.

What are you passionate about outside of the office?

God, my family, my grandchildren! I love to read and learn anything about the world, cultures, countries to gain an understanding of the world as a whole. I love to cook, garden..

Brittany Thompson

What is your why?

My why is to be the best wife and mom to my husband and kids.

How does your role help Swan achieve its mission?

I help provide a winning culture with back-office support to our field offices and provide excellent service to all of our customers.

What level of expert are you?

I have been with Swan 8 years. I started as a billing specialist and made my way around the office to my current role of operations manager.

What are you passionate about outside of the office?

Outside of Swan, I spend time with my family, remodeling the house, working on the farm, hunting and fishing

Jessica Hanks

What is your why?

God and my two boys are my purpose for everything I do in life.
I want to be able to show my kids that with hard work, dedication, and placing God first you can accomplish anything you set your mind to, but to always give God the glory for those accomplishments. Without him, we are nothing.

How does your role help Swan achieve its mission?

My role is to make sure that our people have all the systems and tools in place to be successful in their roles and responsibilities. I am their ‘Go To’ contact for all these systems, where I provide the support needed to grow individually and as a company. Seeing Swan grow is my goal, and anything I can do in my walk here at the company to help achieve that growth, I will take on and give it my all.

What level of expert are you?

I started with Swan 6 years ago as the Accounts Receivable Clerk in a part-time position. I quickly became full-time and have since been in every single operations position in the corporate office. I am now the Director of Communications where I have been for the last 2 years.

What are you passionate about outside of the office?

Spending time with family and all things sports with my kids. I love to watch them play any sport that they are passionate about and love. Having two boys keeps me busy and on my toes. You can always find us at Church when the doors are open, at a sporting event that they are participating in or watching one on tv. Giving all my free time to my kids while I still can is a priority.

Briana McKinney

What is your why?

To be successful at creating a secure, loving life for my family & myself by being the best mother, wife, and professional

How does your role help Swan achieve its mission?

My role at Swan helps maintain the accuracy of records and processes within our business. This aids in being able to invest in our people, partners, and customers efficiently.

What level of expert are you?

I went to school for accounting at Baylor University, which has been instrumental in the job I do for Swan. After starting at Swan in 2020, I also achieved my MBA degree, which also adds to the value I can bring to the company. That allowed me to understand and help all aspects of the business, rather than just the accounting side.

What are you passionate about outside of the office?

My new passion is expanding my family, by welcoming my first child in January 2023. My life has consisted in getting ready for this next journey.

Charles O’Byrne

What is your why?

My “Why” is my family. I may be single, but I want to give my sisters and their families, Mom, Grandmother etc. great experiences and contribute to their lives being a little easier. I like doing for
others, and being able to do that feels great! Also, providing that kind of life-changing financial independence for our people is a huge deal. It does not get any better than seeing someone on the sales team buy their dream car, an engagement ring, or become a first-time home buyer.

How does your role help Swan achieve its mission?

As Director of Sales, my role is to leverage experience to help our sales teams grow and realize their potential. My biggest contribution to our sales organization is to move obstacles out of the way from our Logistics Sales Executives, Account Managers, and supporting roles for them to be more efficient and effective for our customers, and eventually be more successful. I contribute to our mission by helping our sales and support teams to be the most prepared, informed, and passionate logistics professionals for our customers.

What level of expert are you?

Organizational sales leader. 15 years of sales management experience, and nine in logistics. I have an MBA from the Citadel.

What are you passionate about outside of the office?

My number one passion is being the best I can be for the folks who call me “Uncle Charles.” Being a native of Augusta, GA I love to golf—albeit badly! You can also find me in a pool, going crazy over Georgia football, smoking a new cigar, or enjoying a great bourbon.

Chase Jutras

What is your why?

Giving my wife and daughter the best life possible. I want my daughter to grow up in a great home and have everything that she needs in order to be successful in life.

How does your role help Swan achieve its mission?

I work to bridge the gap between technology and service for our people and our customers. My goal is to alleviate and eliminate as many inefficient and ineffective processes in our company’s ecosystem as possible. We succeed as a company if our experts are aligned with all tools and resources available to help our customers and partners find solutions to their everyday needs.

What level of expert are you?

15 years in 3PL industry. 8 years in 3PL leadership

What are you passionate about outside of the office?

Besides spending as much time with my family as possible I enjoy fishing, camping, golf and adding to my bourbon collection.

Melissa Nadler

What is your why?

To become financially independent and be able to travel and enjoy life to the fullest.

How does your role help Swan achieve its mission?

In my role, I ensure that the most important part of Swan, our people, feel empowered with the tools and support they need to be successful and achieve their own goals.

What level of expert are you?

I have been in the HR field for 9 years and pride myself on my ability to connect with others and solve difficult problems.

What are you passionate about outside of the office? 

Traveling and my dogs!

Jason Kitchens

What is your why?

The reason I come to work every day is to first provide for my
family, but what is just as important for me is seeing others start with nothing and achieve everything. I love giving people an opportunity to change their lives for the better. I get excited when someone is able
to purchase their first new car, or their first home because they have been successful at Swan. I encourage people to reach for their goals and help them get to their goals whether it is personally or through their career.

How does your role help Swan achieve its mission?

I have a can-do attitude all the time. Nothing is impossible and I will find a way to make it happen if we need it. I pour 100% of my effort into making Swan the best company to work for and honestly enjoy coming to work every day. My Problem solving and negotiation skills have come in handy working in logistics. I will not accept No for an answer and am always pushing our team to find bigger and better ways to be more efficient.

What level of expert are you?

I have worked for Swan for over 18 years. I have combined freight experience of 21 years. I manage an office of 20

What are you passionate about outside of the office?

I have an obsession with 87’ square body trucks, and antique cars. I love to hunt & fish. My best friend is my dog Gage who goes with me to the office every day. I have a beautiful wife and we enjoy going to concerts together. I also recently started competing in BBQ cookoffs

Ashlee Hendricks

What is your why?

My purpose is my family. Everything I do revolves around my husband and my children. I work hard to provide the things my family needs and wants. It gives me a sense of pride to be a successful woman in today’s world. There is no ceiling at Swan. I have the right to be as successful as I want/can be and I love that about my job.

How does your role help Swan achieve its mission?

I am extremely detail-oriented, I believe that I am an outside-of-the-box thinker and contribute to many of the ideas and policies that Swan has in place to be successful. I have a better interest of the company as a whole and see the bigger picture of where we are headed and what it takes to get there. I have been lucky enough to have worked in our corporate office as well as an operations office so I have a really good understanding of how each office operates and what is needed to accomplish tasks and work together as a team for the betterment of Swan as a whole.

What level of expert are you?

I have worked for Swan Transportation for over 13 years total, 10 of those years have been managing our operations team of 15-20 people at any given time. I have managed the movement of all different types of freight over the years, including oversized, container freight, and truckload. I can honestly say that there is no type of freight that I couldn’t move easily at this point.

What are you passionate about outside of the office?

I am currently engulfed in the world of youth sports. I have a 9, 7, and 5 year old that all play sports and I love watching them learn and grow as players. Outside of my children, I enjoy what most girls do, Starbucks and shopping at Target

Marcos Escobar

What is your why?

To build long lasting friendships through work life that carry over into personal relationships. I want my daughter to learn how to treat people by watching me.

How does your role help Swan achieve its mission?

I constantly get to communicate with our customers and their families. This allows me to stay in the know regarding all the personal events in their lives.

What level of expert are you?

I’m an expert of people. Regarding logistics, I started at 19 (24 years experience) and handled everything from billing to operations, sales and marketing.

What are you passionate about outside of the office?

I love traveling to new places with my daughter. I decided a long time ago that experiences meant more than gifts so I always try to take her somewhere new. Other than that I love playing golf and spending time with my CHUG (part chihuahua/part pug) Eugene.

Alyssa Dye

What is my why?! - My why is my daughter, Jusslynn. I wake up every day and strive to be the best to ensure she is taken care of.

How does my role help Swan achieve its mission? My role as director of sales is very important to me, and it's a role that requires me to push not only myself but my team to close new business and ensure that our customers are taken care of and growing. The growth of these existing customers and the push to always obtain new business is what will push Swan into the next level of growth 🙂

What level of expert am I? I started Swan in January 2015 with no experience at all. With the guidance of Marcos and Jason, I was headed to closing deals and climbing up the top in just under a year. I moved over to freight forwarding to learn everything international in 2020. In late 2022 I returned to Swan, and now I'm the Director of Sales. My goal is to grow the amazing sales team and prove to new and existing customers why they should choose Swan.

What am I passionate about outside of the office?! Well, besides living and breathing logistics, I love to travel and soon my daughter will be alongside me, and we will both be exploring the world together 🙂

Alex Snook

What is your why?

To help people realize how fast time goes by & enjoy the moment! The future will be here before you know it. ????

How does your role help Swan achieve its mission?

By creating accountable partnerships with carriers and customers so that it’s a WIN/WIN all around!

Started in logistics around 2013. Just a 1 man show...so far. ????

What are you passionate about outside of the office?

Raising my daughter, the CHIEFS!!!, editing videos, learning history, & studying/watching film.
